These have included laboratory transducers,

devices, and diagnostic ultrasound systems.
For many years existing ultrasound devices have been used for sonothrombolysis (STL) research in-vitro, in animals, and even in humans.
These have included laboratory transducers, physiotherapy devices, and diagnostic ultrasound systems.
None of these are optimal for STLsince they were designed for different applications. Therefore, we have been investigating the clinical requirements for an STL device for ischemic stroke and the influence of various system parameters on the lytic capabilities of ultrasound and microbubbles (MB).

The mothers are trained and perform the
physiotherapy
techniques at home.
The study is prospective and includes preterm neonates born at the Neonatal Department of the Regional hospital in Ruse, Bulgaria. The newborns are with hypoxic impairments of the CNS and are split into two groups. The first group includes those neonates whose parents signed a written consent form and had an EPI that started immediately after birth and lasted until the infant was 3 months old and released from the Neonatology department.
The mothers are trained and perform the physiotherapy techniques at home.
This paper presents the precise EPI techniques that are being used. The second group includes the neonates without EPI. Neurodevelopment tests are performed at the age of 1, 2 and 3 months after birth to the neonates from both groups in order to access the efficiency of the EPI.

People who receive electromechanical-assisted gait training in combination with
physiotherapy
after stroke are more likely to achieve independent walking than people who receive gait training without these devices.
“Robot-mediated” post-stroke therapy is developed for the lowerund upper-extremity in the last decades. There is know clinical evidence that robotic interventions improve upper limb motor scores and strength. Most of the studies focus on training of the proximal arm for chronic stroke patients. Patients who receive electromechanical and robot-assisted arm training early after stroke are more likely to improve their generic activities of daily living.
People who receive electromechanical-assisted gait training in combination with physiotherapy after stroke are more likely to achieve independent walking than people who receive gait training without these devices.
Specifically, people in the first three months after stroke and those who are not able to walk seem to benefit most from this type of intervention.

session was 60 min, with moderate intensity.
Ten patients with cervico-brachial plexopathy were studied. For the purpose of the study the circumference of the arm, forearm, elbow joint and wrist joint, and muscle strength of the affected upper limb before and after treatment were measured. Muscle strength was evaluated by standard manual muscle testing. All patients performed individual PNF for 10 consecutive days.
The average duration of every physiotherapy session was 60 min, with moderate intensity.
Our methodology includes targeted exercises to strengthen weak muscles, increase the range of motion and improve the coordination.

Twenty patients treated in the Department of Neurosurgery of the Sofiamed University Hospital – Sofia were studied. Assessment of the quality of life was made before surgery and on the discharge day. A point scale for quality of life (SF36) was used. All patients performed physioterapy exercises once daily until the day of discharge.
The average duration of every physiotherapy session was 30 min, with moderate intensity.
Our methodology included targeted exercises to facilitate the transition from one starting position to another, exercises to improve coordination of movements, training in ADL (activities of daily living) and gait training.
